I sure had one good and lazy Christmas myself :) Just being lazy, eating good food and getting presents ;) I bet that the good food will get back at me though O_o;

I’m very pleased to see that the Christmas at last turned out to be a white one; yesterday it snowed in the evening, so we have about 20 centimeters of snow over here now, which looks very nice and pretty! It’s also around 5-10 minus degrees (celcius), so the snow’ll probably stay for a while and not turn into the horror that is slask! So yeah, it’s been a pleasure to take a walk in ockelbo, just admiring how pretty everything looks like when it’s covered with snow ^_^ Joy!

I’ve spent my free time over here mostly by drawing comic pages. It goes pretty well actually, these last pages are pretty fun to draw if I might say so! I’ve also tried to study some HCI a bit, but I’m not sure if I can concentrate enough on it ;) I’ve at least printed out some old exam questions now so i can start looking up what I really should study before the exam.

Back in ockelbo for Xmas

So, I’m back in my hometown ockelbo to celebrate christmas. I’m not a big fan of this town, but it’s actually pretty nice to be back here and have one lazy week after a few hectic weeks in school and work and so forth. Yesterday, I was really tired during my trip from Skövde to here that I fell asleep on the train, and when I came to ockelbo, I almost immediately fell asleep and slept for 12 hours ^_^;

But today, I felt all rested out and joined my friends from this town to Gävle for some christmas shopping. I wasn’t really shopping anything though since I had no money (I think and hope that my work- and student money will arrive tomorrow), but it was nice to just be a bit social with them again :) I think we’ll have some sort of evening together after Christmas too, so that’ll be nice.

Tomorrow’s reserved for studying and maybe making some christmas candy or something…since I’ll have an exam when i get back to Skövde, I’ll have to study some during my stay here. But I hope that I understand this MDI subject pretty well and will pass the exam during the first try :) I’ve also brought some drawing devices and hope that I’ll be able to draw some comic pages while I’m here; after all, I haven’t drawn any new pages since I was here in October-November ^^; Kinda tells you how busy I’ve been!

Not much else to report, so I’ll sign out!

Lucia

Tomorrow’s Saint Lucia over here. I and Petter decided to have our St. Lucia this weekend though with baking gingerbread cookies, safron buns and drinking glögg. I can say that there were lota of cookie/bun/candy eathing this weekend, and I still feel stuffed O_O So I’ve decided to have a white week from candy now, and I probably should keepout from candy and stuff like that until Christmas ^^; And do a lot of DDR-ing ;)

This week’ll probably be a bit hectic. Working with the HCI project work, probably work some with the animation project and also studying a bit in the HCI book (feels like I should have read through the book at least once before the exam)…yeah, and probably play some music in the student band too! The HCI project work is the most urgent thing to work with since it’s supposed to be all done before December 20th…and the written report should be handed in before December 22nd X_x I feel oddly stressed, but we’ve at least started to get this project work going on, so there should be no problem with it all, really…

I have been drawing a lot this weekend, Petter and I had a drawing day, so I finished some christmas pictures and started to colour an older drawing of mine. Maybe I should continue working with it a bit before I go to bed or something…

Slaaaaask

I really dislike this thing called slask (when all the snow melts and it’s just some substance that is between water and snow left)…and when snow melts away in wintertime. Everything looks so ugly, you only see grey colours, smeared dog poo and pebbles everywhere -_- Such depressing weather.

This weekend, my friends Jenny and Helen visited me. Jenny lives in a small town next to my town and Hell come all the way from the northern part of Sweden to visit a friend of hers, but she decided to pay me and Jenny a visit before she went to see her friend. We had pretty fun, just went to a few stores and ate out and such. It was nice :)

Not much else is happening, really. I feel a bit ill again, and my neck is a bit hurty when I look at certain directions, but I guess that’s stuff that’ll pass sooner or later. I’m still a bit worried about the assignment we have to work with for the next two weeks in our HCI class, we should really get started with it next week O_o; But hopefully, it won’t be too bad to work with. I’m just a bit irked at the fact that we have to work with HCI at the same time as we have to finish an animated fake trailer thingie in Maya O_o; Oh well…

I think I’ll do some bread baking and HCI studying now, so seeya later!
