Snow again.

Just when last week’s snow almost had vanished, a new snowfall swept over the city O_o; Grah, couldn’t this snow have arrived during christmas and new year’s instead? This snow sure doesn’t make thing easier with work and everything…

We started a new sketchin/study class this Monday. I sure was rusty, but I guess it’s good training to do some sketching once every week. Thing is though, that sketching always makes me feel so tired O_o; It’s a hard work sketching intensly for 2 hours!

I wish I could get better from my illness too…this isn’t fun anymore!

I think I’m starting to get my essay a bit more structured and such. That feels nice :) I still feel stressed though, that I won’t get it done in time and rush it all and stuff. University essays are a bit trickier than the ones done in school…

Not much else…I’ll be working late tonight. I don’t have any classes tomorrow though, so I guess that’s okay…only that I don’t feel like working today :P

Almost end of the week

Despite me being somewhat ill, this week has been good. The two lectures with mr. Ernest Adams were great and the workshop he had was fun as well. We got divided into groups and each group got an envelope which contained a dream the player wanted to fulfill in our game. Our group got the dream of living in a castle, so our group made a Sims/Harvrest Moon clone in medieval time. Mr. Adams seemed to like our idea, which was really fun to hear, so that was cool :)

Today, the first year students at computer game development had their showcase of their first games, and that was interesting too! Many nice game ideas and such! :D

I’ve also worked a bit this week, first on Monday (that was hell) then yesterday at The Incredibles. Unfortunately with Swedish dub, but it’s still a good film! And the theater was almost full, since it’s a movie for both kids and grown-ups, so that was cool. And everything went perfect too, so that was great :D Tomorrow’s my last working day this week, but it’s a bit sad that I have to work on a Saturday. Oh well, it generates money, so I shouldn’t be too sad.

Ugh…

I feel sick…AGAIN >_< Yesterdays work of carrying 3 film boxes, each weighing around 20-25 kg on the carriage on snowy roads in a snowy weather wasn’t a good idea. I woke up today, feeling that my throat was all croaked and my mouth tastes like icky-poo -_-; And my shoulders hurt. This sicky-thing isn’t a good thing to be now, as I’d love to go to some classes this week…we’ll have a workshop with game designer Ernest Adams tomorrow fer instance, and he’ll have a lecture today which I’ll probably attend to even though I feel a bit shitty. I also have to work on Thursday O_o;

But besides that, yesterday evening was good. Nothing special happened, but Petter was nice enough to cook food for me ^^ We were supposed to eat some dessert too, but we were so full of food so we didn’t have the power to eat anymore X_x Maybe we’ll have the dessert today instead? We’ll see :) It felt kinda nice not to think about the hearty holiday; I didn’t even had the time since I stressed around at work for nothing :P

So, to round it up, yesterday mostly sucked, except for the evening, but today I feel kinda shitty…but it’s mostly work’s fault >_O I’d love to attend the TT-orchestra tonight, but maybe I should skip when I don’t feel so good…blah.

Why?

Why, during this day, when all the films I’m supposed to project today seem to be horribly late and I have to go back and forth from the cinema to the bus-place-thingie several times with that fucking carriage…why the hell does it have to snow like crazy?! It’s hard enough to carry those fucking film reels by that carriage when it is no snow, but now it feels like I have snow up to my knees (and it just keeps snowing!) >_<

Well, this really ruins my plans for the day…good thing I’m not into this fucking commersialist ‘holiday’ at all this year XP

Work, work, work

I believe I’ve been pretty creative this weekend! I started on modeling one of my characters in Maya, just for fun. Hopefully I can continue to work on him every now and then during the rest of this school year :)

I’ve also drawn five pages of my comic EET…and coloured and finishing off six pages of same comic. This last part will be a bit over twenty pages, I believe; so far, I’ve drawn 18 pages and I still have a lot of script left to be drawn (about 2½ pages), so this last part will be a long one. I guess that’s cool, and hopefully I can knot all loose ties at this ending.  I’ll try to be a bit effective next week and weekend and try to get it all done. I want to finish this thing off and start something new! This comic has been going on for like 4 years now X_x I’m such a slowpoke.

Next week will also be full of work, It’s one week holiday for the kids over here now, so I’ll be working at the cinema three times during the weekdays and once on the weekend. Plus that I have some school work to work with. Geez, things were easier when you were younger…I would’ve had a one week long holiday now then ;) Ah well, I’ll look forward to a three week free-from-school-period soon! ^_^ One week will be spent in Ockelbo, and that’ll probably be the week I’ll be all lazy and stuff, so that’s cool.

Not much else going on, I’m considering to install my wacom today…haven’t installed it since the hard-drive formatting some weeks ago.

Server move and stuffs.

So, now the server move for jennula.com should almost be done, eh? All in all, everything seem faster and niftier! Pate’s doing a great job keeping everything that is going on behind the scenes of jennula.com working, so a big thank you to him!
What else’s going on? I was working on Sunday on the cinema, and the film to show was Zatoichi. I had pretty low expectations on that one, but it turned out to be a really neat film :) Petter has too much to do today, so he can’t go and see it, but we can rent it or something later on ^_^

I’ve been ill and feeling kinda bad lately. I’ve started to feel a bit better both in body and mind, which feels good.  Been trying to clean out my apartment a bit, I’ll might go to the used CD shop and try to sell/exchenge some CDs there. It still seems that I have a lot of junk here though O_o; I dunno, I feel I have too much stuff I never use and such that would come in handy in some other home instead…

Trying to get something done for my essay…I’ve mostly been reading in books to get a ground and stuff, but now I’m almost all done with reading. Time for doing some essay writing and stuff then!

I hate the postal service

I sent a mail to my employees the other day so I can get my paycheck, and today I got a mail from the postal service…I had apparantly put too little stamp value on it (5 SEK), and do you know how much they want me to pay them?

30 Fucking SEK! O_O They want me to pay 25 SEK for administrive mumbo-jumbo besides the 5 SEK I forgot to put on the envelope. Now, 30 SEK isn’t that much, but it’s kinda irritating that they want me to pay more for the administrive work than the actual stamp fee…it’s just crazy O_o

In other news…I passed my HCI exam. That feels great, and I even got a higher grade than just ‘passed’, so that’s cool. Otherwise, I’m just studying and working all day long.
