Doctor’s appointment

Were to the doctor this week and did a checkup since I’ve been feeling some pains (or rather an uncomfortable feeling) in my chest for a while. Turned out I probably had no physical problems (I had to leave some blood samples and come back for another checkup because they heard a sound, but chances are that I was born with this sound and that it will do me no harm). Seems I rather must try to be less stressed though. I’m worrying about some stuff now, but I’ll do my best and try to not think too hard about it for now…can’t do much more than I allready do anyways.

Also, seems like I got ill again :/ Only two weeks after I allready had some kind of cold too! It’s kinda crappy, but I hope this illness is at it’s peak right now and it won’t get any worse than this…then maybe I can be well again in the beginning of next week…argh OoO

Also, had a great day yesterday. Being all lazy, playing videogames and watching movies with Petter :D It was a while ago since we had a day like that, so I’m glad :) We tried to get a bit further in the game “Beyond Good and Evil” that I bought in August last year. Haven’t been able to play it much because of my TV breaking down. I’m trying to play it some more now though since I’d like to finish it sometime soon…Psychonauts came out over here this Friday and I want to try it out so badly! Too bad that the Playstation 2 version is said to be the worst version, but what can I do? I don’t feel like upgrading my PC for gameplaying or buy myself an Xbox, so I have to settle with that version. I’m also a bit curious about We Love katamari. Played the first game at a friend’s place and it seemed funky :) And there’s also my quest for the Nintendo DS..! So many games and so little time..!

Oh well, not much else to report. Working with my exam project in the weekdays and trying to do other stuff in the weekends. I’ll maybe draw some today, was a while ago…

Yep, I decided to get myself a new theme. Found a theme with great layout, but I didn’t liked the colours and pictures in it, so I kinda modified it :) I think it looks pretty good now; suddleny the jennula.com page looked attractive!

I’ve had a pretty nice weekend; worked at the cinema on Saturday, but the film was good, so it was a-okay :) And today, I and Petter went up on the Billinge mountain, that was cool!

Oh, and I decided to yet again update Studio Jennula, but only a wee bit ;)

Lots of school work

ATM, I’m working a lot with my exam project, a short animated story for kids. I’ll mostly concentrate on animation, but I still have to prepare the whole thing with modelling characters and stuff. I’ve managed to model all four human characters and create face shapes (mouth and brow movement) for one of them. I still have to fix face shapes for the other three, model a dog, rig and skin ‘em and create some kind of environment for them. It’s a lot of work, but I hope I’ll be able to finish the project in time…otherwise I’ll probably try to finish the film either way. It’d be cool to at least produce some kind of film that I’m all content with after these three years.

I can also recomend anyone who’s interesting in facial modeling/animation to look up Jason Osipa’s “Stop Staring”. It’s a really fun book that at least I am learning a lot from. It’s pure gold when struggling with modelling face shapes :D

I’m also having a lot of stoy ideas…maybe for comics or something, I dunno. I’ll try to write them down, someday they’ll might come in handy. And I’ve been drawing some too. One picture, I’m pretty content with, but I might have to fix the background to make it all perfect…

I can also recomend people to see brothers Grimm. I and Petter went to see it on the local cinema this week and it was awesome. All spookyfun and the music innit was pretty cool too!

Oh, and finally, I’ve updated Studio Jennula with some 3d stuff from my previous course. Go look, it includes apes!
