Lots of school work
ATM, I’m working a lot with my exam project, a short animated story for kids. I’ll mostly concentrate on animation, but I still have to prepare the whole thing with modelling characters and stuff. I’ve managed to model all four human characters and create face shapes (mouth and brow movement) for one of them. I still have to fix face shapes for the other three, model a dog, rig and skin ‘em and create some kind of environment for them. It’s a lot of work, but I hope I’ll be able to finish the project in time…otherwise I’ll probably try to finish the film either way. It’d be cool to at least produce some kind of film that I’m all content with after these three years.
I can also recomend anyone who’s interesting in facial modeling/animation to look up Jason Osipa’s “Stop Staring”. It’s a really fun book that at least I am learning a lot from. It’s pure gold when struggling with modelling face shapes :D
I’m also having a lot of stoy ideas…maybe for comics or something, I dunno. I’ll try to write them down, someday they’ll might come in handy. And I’ve been drawing some too. One picture, I’m pretty content with, but I might have to fix the background to make it all perfect…
I can also recomend people to see brothers Grimm. I and Petter went to see it on the local cinema this week and it was awesome. All spookyfun and the music innit was pretty cool too!
Oh, and finally, I’ve updated Studio Jennula with some 3d stuff from my previous course. Go look, it includes apes!
