Just wanted to say that I’ve updated Studio Jennula with some new pics.
My exam project gets longer than I expected; my goal was 4½ minutes, but ATM, the film is a bit over 6 minutes long O_o And I still have about half a minute to animate. Good news though, it seems like I’ll get done with the film in time so yey for me ;) Still a whole month left though, so we’ll see how the final movie’ll end up like!

Well, this week as been eventful…
Worked on Tuesday, which was a bit stressful! One of the movies hadn’t arrived and I had to call around a few times before the situation was under control. But in the end, it turned out okay, and I think I projected both of the films really well. I also went to see an apartment that I was first in line to get. Turned out that it was an okay apartment. The “kitchen” is very small, but on the whole, I’ll get a bigger apartment (that is a real apartment and not a dorm living) with a bath tub (yay!) in a pretty okay neighbourhood, and the monthly fee for the new place cheaper than what I pay at the moment. The only thing is that I have to start paying for my apartment in June, so I’ll probably need to start looking for a job soon.
On Wednesday, I went to the hospital, to make an ultrasound on my heart. The woman who did the ultrasound said that there probably wasn’t anything wrong with me. She also made some remark that I had a low pulse, but that was apparantly okay…oh well, it seemed okay anyhow, but I’ll wait for the mail with the results to arrive in some weeks.
Thursday was the day when I signed the contract for my new apartment. That was pretty joyful, but I got a rather sad call from my friend Pate. I’m not sure if i should mention anything about it just yet, but the news I got wasn’t nice at all, and it quite harshly made me learn to not take people for granted…
And today…today, I realized that my exam project has lagged behind in schedule! I got all freaked out and yeah…I have to work quite a lot these comming weeks to get everything done in time. I still think I’ll have a chance to get it somewhat done in time, I just have to work longer days (whole days instead of just half-days) and be more organized. I started today to work on something I scheduled for next week, so I get a better start for next week. Maybe I can win some time that way.
This weekend, I and Petter will finalize the new fanzine we’ve been working with for a few weeks now. We thought it’d be cool to arrive to Small Press Expo with two different ‘zines, so yeah. The first one is our half-year old one (I’m really feeling like making a new part for that one too, but I don’t have time right now :/) and this new one is with some really quickly-made comic stories I and Petter’s done. And on Sunday, it’s Petter’s birthday! :) I think I’ll have a pretty good weekend.
Oh, and a final thing…I updated Studio Jennula just now with some new stuffs, so check it out! ;)

Yep, I decided to get myself a new theme. Found a theme with great layout, but I didn’t liked the colours and pictures in it, so I kinda modified it :) I think it looks pretty good now; suddleny the jennula.com page looked attractive!
I’ve had a pretty nice weekend; worked at the cinema on Saturday, but the film was good, so it was a-okay :) And today, I and Petter went up on the Billinge mountain, that was cool!
Oh, and I decided to yet again update Studio Jennula, but only a wee bit ;)

ATM, I’m working a lot with my exam project, a short animated story for kids. I’ll mostly concentrate on animation, but I still have to prepare the whole thing with modelling characters and stuff. I’ve managed to model all four human characters and create face shapes (mouth and brow movement) for one of them. I still have to fix face shapes for the other three, model a dog, rig and skin ‘em and create some kind of environment for them. It’s a lot of work, but I hope I’ll be able to finish the project in time…otherwise I’ll probably try to finish the film either way. It’d be cool to at least produce some kind of film that I’m all content with after these three years.
I can also recomend anyone who’s interesting in facial modeling/animation to look up Jason Osipa’s “Stop Staring”. It’s a really fun book that at least I am learning a lot from. It’s pure gold when struggling with modelling face shapes :D
I’m also having a lot of stoy ideas…maybe for comics or something, I dunno. I’ll try to write them down, someday they’ll might come in handy. And I’ve been drawing some too. One picture, I’m pretty content with, but I might have to fix the background to make it all perfect…
I can also recomend people to see brothers Grimm. I and Petter went to see it on the local cinema this week and it was awesome. All spookyfun and the music innit was pretty cool too!
Oh, and finally, I’ve updated Studio Jennula with some 3d stuff from my previous course. Go look, it includes apes!

Studio Jennula was updated yesterday with three new illustrations :) I’ve also cleaned the place up, taken away some old pieces and such.
On another note, 3d modeling sure isn’t my thing ;)

I updated Kumgolia today! OoO Basically cleaning up the galleries a bit and adding some Kumgolia-related art in, but yeah. It’s the first place where I showcase those new piccies too ;) I’ll put them up on Studio Jennula in a few days too, I have a bigger update for that page as soon as I’m all done with my 3d course.
Have been sitting most of the day down in the media basement, making a DVD with the coolest 3D animations I’ve made this far. Basically, I made all the DVd shiznit with menus and such in one program, made a DVD image (or whatever it’s called…ISO?) and was supposed to burn it on a DVD disc. I tried to burn it on a DVD disc, but it didn’t seem to work at all (sure, I burned something, but I couldn’t run the disc on my compy). Then, since the image file was only like 500 MB big, I decided to try and burn it on a regular CD, and the “DVD” instantly worked! My DVD program instantly recognized it as a DVD disc (hehe), so I hope everything is okay. it seems kinda lame to waste yet another DVD when all the contents fitted into a regular one, dontcha think? Oh well…
Still have an essay to write about before Friday too, and i haven’t started yet :/ have been all focused on the 3d course because, well…it’s my major :P And it’s wiser to get a grade on that one, because the course gives me more points and stuffs. But yeah…I’ll probably start working with the essay tomorrow when I’m all done with the DVD. Gee, And next week, the exam project starts too…I wonder if I’ll be able to relax much the coming…18 weeks O_o; Oh well, I should try to get a bit of summer vacation this year, I guess.
Oh, and petter bought a Nintendo DS today! He found one at ICA for 990 SEK! I mean, a DS for 990 SEK, that’s really cheap! OoO He’s having an exam on Wednesday though, so he won’t even open it before that day. But yeah…made me a bit curious about buying one too, but I don’t have time for one right now…I thought about maybe asking for financial help for one on my birthday so I can get myself a nice birthday present this year :) Even though I have a lot to do even then, I might have been able to beat either metroid Fusion or Beyond Good and Evil before that so I can start playing something new without feeling bad about myself ;)

Just want to make you all aware of that the fanzine that Petter and I worked on this summer now is printed up and available for you to buy. Go to Studio Jennula for more information!
In other news, I have bought myself a new monitor, so now I can finally use my computer at home again. I had to re-install windows on the computer though, but now the computer is up and working all fine! :) And it’s just a few weeks left before I travel up north to visit my family and friends in Ockelbo again. It’ll probably be a nice week where I can just relax and do stuff that isn’t connected with university work.
